Repeated title, I know. Sue me.....
So here I am, amidst a major build for a show that will be rented, Legally Blonde, and am I BUSHED! But I wouldn't have it any other way.
I may be away from my beautiful girlfriend, and I may be away from my wonderful family, but I finally have a job where I have a purpose, where I can see my work in all stages, and be able to appreciate the final result of all of the hard work that comes together to create amazingness that entertains the people.
So with little sleep, a lot of work, blood, sweat, and tears, with spit and wishes holding shit together, I LOVE THIS LIFE. It's an experience. I didn't get to go to college, so partly I'm experiencing that sort of lifestyle. And just to be surrounded by such entertaining wonderful characters. They're all great people with big hearts and those are the folks I'm drawn to.
And I hope to one day soon put a ring on the finger of one particular girl with a very big heart.
All in all, to cut to the chase, I'm happy, things are on track, and I'm heading in the right direction that I want to be in.
I get to pop in back home hopefully soon to see the booger and my beautiful, and hopefully sooner than Christmas, I can hop up to Maine and soak in as much of it as possible, visit with the family and my Memere. I miss my family and loved ones, homesick as usual, but it's the fighting force to keep me going to be able to earn a pass down easy street and be able to do what I want, support a family when the time comes, see the world and just live comfortably and be able to see the people I love all about the states as often as possible. . .
Of lovers and dreamers, and me. . . .La, da, da, dee, do do do... . .
Everybody's drugged & easily amused
Rants, raves, reviews, random pissings & moanings, shit you don't really need to hear, a boring life with sporadic moments of intense fun and hilarity! Bear in mind I have poor punctuation usage... I'm comma happy! And use many ellipses... And start sentences with and, but fuck that rule.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT A NEW POST!
Yep, I'm back, and hopefully capable of at least one weekly update with lots of fun stories and eventually if I get a cheap digicam, awesome pictures.
SOOOOOO, here's the fucking update!
I've been on a break from this because I was just tired my shitty fucking job. I didn't like where the things where going in my life. I know I used to just keep track of my daily routine but I have come to the realization that if I usually do the same damn thing every day, something isn't right.
So I decided to make some big decisions and changes. Longer story a little bit shorter, I moved to Long Island to pursue a career change that would bring me a few steps closer to the entertainment industry. I packed a uhaul full of my shit and took the ferry from Connecticut to Long Island. There is nothing more fun than driving a larger vehicle. Seriously.
Anyway, after two days of unloading, unpacking and finagling all of my possessions into a 12x4 room I welcomed myself home to Gateway Playhouse of Bellport, NY. Room 48, in the building called The Coop. This place is a like a compound, but not the creepy kind. Starting from the owners all the way down to us lowly general technicians and carpenters (of course the show wouldn't go on without us so we're pretty much more important than the actors.... :p), everyone is just a great and or interesting person. So many characters.
I love everyone of them and feel like a part of one big family. In the past 3 weeks we've been a well oiled machine and managed to clean this place up and load in a show and have everything on stage to the point where we ran out of things to do... But the past 3 days have been hell on wheels. Witht he combination of dust allergies and a head cold, on top of running tech and discovering more issues with the loading of a set that is not designed to fit the stage (i.e. a lot of fine tuning, see also, take just about everything off the truck, set it up... and then take 1/3rd of it back out.... but on the bright side this is the worst part of it) ... Jesus I'm bitching too much... Here, intermission... Read this:
The Four Seasons Of The Tree
There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away. The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall. When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen. The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted. The second son said no--it was covered with green buds and full of promise. The third son disagreed, he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen. The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.
The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but ONLY one season in the tree's life. He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are--and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life--can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.
If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall. Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Don't judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time or later.
Boom. Positivified.
Anyway. For the most part, the beginning of the season has been amazing, this place is the cleanest I've seen it in the past three years since I've been here and it's going to be a pretty swell season.
The first show we're doing is West Side Story. . . ... GAG... I dunno if it's just my rage for the dick of a set, but it's just a ridiculous show. The best part of this show, they put me in charge of the firearms! :p 357 magnum, pretty fun stuff. Besides all of that, I'm a deck hand backstage to help the show run. It's all hectic and fast paced and hurry up and wait and last minute decisions, but in the end the show must go on, and it will. It's fun. I assure you.
It's just captivating. You can go to a play and have fun... But to be able to see the empty stage progress to a full set of a street with buildings, and then all the lights get set up (FUUUUN! Slowly conquering my fear of heights), meanwhile all of the actors are on property in the studios rehearsing. Finally after all of the fine tuning the main rag goes up and the band starts to play and the show goes on. It's amazing.
Anyway, that's all I'll go on about for now....
I have to be up in about 5 hours, it's opening night today. Late nights and early mornings. Needs me a little nappy nap. So what if my hours are ridiculous. Nowhere else can I work in an environment with so much joking around and have fun and live for free... Duh... Winning. Has that been overused yet?
WHATEVER!

Hiatus
I've been busy, confused, life has been crazy lately!
Had a great Halloween, worked my ass to the bone all month and started a new position at my job.
I've been taking a little break from blogging, for the reasons above. I'll be back for the holidays-ish, really just waiting to have a computer back at my fingertips to take this a step further. But when it happens, I'm gonna rock this bitch.
I'm so frazzled I can't even think of a great video to leave you....

HUZZAH!
Currently watching: Avatar (the animated series)
Currently reading: Battling between tv and finishing Harry Potter and starting year 2.... Finished the other one but I think I said that in my other post... Remember how I said I can't remember shit...
Last movie watched: Survival of the Dead 6 stars! Campy, excellent! I give it a high rating even though the ending upset me. And the featurette for The Walking Dead was an unexpected and pleasant surprise! And the geeky intro from George himself.... Later, started Greenburg but immediately became depressed and lethargic and gave up... Will attempt on a rainy day...
Song of the Day:
Saturday: Reggie Watts - Fuck Shit stack
Sunday: Quasimoto - Come on Feet
Today: For some reason I have Golden Eye (N64) themes going through my head....
ATTN:MTV - Can the cast of Jersey Shore all die of some freak carbon monoxide tragedy and get it over with already. Not really a question... A demand. ... that is all I really want to say at this moment... My fingers are currently dusted with chester's puffcorn cheese. Also... I babyfaced my .. face... Shaved off a little too much... Meh, starting fresh. I'll need to do it for the end of October anyway, might as well start now... Get a little bit of clean shaven in there. It's growing on me.
Lazy relaxing weekend, didn't do a whole lot of anything. It's going to be tough tomorrow having to go back to work....

I'm going to cheat, Song of the day Wednesday-Friday:
Todd Rundgren - Bang on the drum all day
Ahhh, Friday! The three-day weekend is HERE! Time for some relaxing.
I made it through work... I was sooooooo in the mood to call out today but I could not or I wouldn't see pay for Monday. I opted for more money, cannot spare a dime at the moment.
Pretty blah today. No hurricane Earl... Just a little rain. Almost fell asleep at work today.. caved and got an energy drink.... Tired now... But too into this here Reggie Watts on the boobie toobie...

Currently watching: Louie (LOVE IT in all it's dark comical glory!)
Currently reading: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling

Hold on, time out, pause for a minute. I will be riiiiight back.
(::click while you wait::)
There. Thaat's better. XD
So it's been a few days since my last post, and I'll probably do it this way from now on. Daily is just too much. Every other day or two is just fine. If something post-worthy happens, then of course, I'll post it. Otherwise, I think I can remember everything I need to for the most part.
Although, I did forget I ran something over after work Friday on the way to Curt's.... Here was my facebook status, this reads kind of poetically:
Anywhatists. Sunday was the laziest day ever. All I did was nap and eat spaghetti squash (DELICIOUS!!!!). Oh, yah, we went to RI to grab some booze because we forgot to re-up before 9 on Saturday. Only had 2 more beers, wasn't really feeling it. Had my first Pumpkin Head Ale! The greatest time of year can officially start! Got home around 9 and did some dishes. I was going to cook dinner, but I didn't feel like it. Farted around for the rest of the night, passed out around 2 or 3. Or earlier, can't really remember, nor does it honestly really matter at all anyway whatsoever....
Monday was a blah day. I was tired... I just slept way too much this weekend. Work went by nice and fast, but BLAH. Made a few hundred guns. Talked with Mum for a bit, that was nice. One of her close friends passed away Friday after a long battle with cancer. I was supposed to go up this weekend but I couldn't make it, and it worked out for the best because Mum had to cancel anyway. After work we shot straight home and I made an excellent spaghetti dinner with apple turnovers for dessert (yes I do cook dinner when we get home at 1am). I need to switch to first shift. I need daylight! Anywaaay, caught the new eps. of Weeds and The Big C. Love. Passed out around 5:30.
Woke up this morning sweating my testicles off. It was HOT. It's going to be hotter tomorrow. And then it's supposed to rain Thursday or Friday. Went to work and got assigned a gun that wasn't even up and running, nor would it be for the night... So I was assigned to help some other machines that 4 peoples were already working on. So I said, 'Fuck that.' and went and did some rework. And then I dicked around all night. I read a lot of my book. I didn't do a damn thing. And I ENJOYED IT!
We have to be in a half hour early tomorrow. Another meeting. With the new head honcho. I have a feeling I'm going to like him. Popped into the cantina for a bit on lunch. Everybody was talking about Hurricane Earl possibly making it's way to the North East. It's already for certain hitting NC, well at least they're planning evacuation routes. We'll see where he goes. It's going to be ridiculously hot throughout the next two weeks. Interesting weather. Can't wait for the cool autumn to start.
Got home and plopped on my ass and here I sit, now, as I am typing this. All internetted out. Just going to tune out and sit in front of the televiz for a few hours and then crash. SHIT! I have to call the theatre tomorrow, make sure they still need me for halloween and when they would expect me to come down, so I can ask for time off!
Peace off, Love you!
Stay positive!

To the animal that ran under my car on North Burnham - I'm sorry! You came right out of the bushes and under my car.... I hit you hard with my tailpipe hanging so low.... I turned around but you were nowhere to be found... :( ...... As long as you were not a cat, I think I'll be able ...to live with it.... Hopefully a possum or something.... I hope I really just made his head hurt and didn't kill him... A little special possum is running through the forest off the busy road... Naming his toes...

Because they're buildin' a dam across the Cahulawassee River; they're gonna flood a whole valley, Bobby, that's why. Dammit, they're drownin' a river; they're drownin' a river, man.
Song of the day: Dueling banjos - Deliverance
The song of the day for Thursday and Friday: Asfalt Tango - Fanfare Ciocarlia
Work Thursday was work. Grabbed a few beers at lunch and then afterward. Went and did some groceries after that. Then work was the same for Friday, wasn't expecting much change. Went in an hour early for a safety training course about common sense shit I didn't need to hear, SO I got paid an extra hour to zone out.
I'm sitting herre at Curt's, on his computer, half awake but fully coherent. I'm full, content, and buuuurnt OUT!
Today we were "Doin' the damn thaaang" out on the Quinebaug. Took a nice 7 hour canoe trip, a little burnt but it was a nice trip. I didn't go to sleep at all last night, just stayed up and posted videos to my facebook all night. I love getting lost in Youtube land sometimes. But I ended up paying for it... Do you know how hard it is to stay awake when you're not rowing a canoe... And then do you know how nerve-wracking it is to slip in and out of consciousness while balancing in a canoe? Just picture it and laugh.
So anyway, we popped in at 10 this morning and got back to Curt's at 3:50. We bumped into some other trippers that were completely in the bag and having a good time, went along with them for a bit. Finished off a 12 pack by 2. Wished I grabbed an 18-rack... But only by a little because I would have been regretting drinking more than I that.
I'm beat. Just hanging out for the rest of the night.
