Because they're buildin' a dam across the Cahulawassee River; they're gonna flood a whole valley, Bobby, that's why. Dammit, they're drownin' a river; they're drownin' a river, man.

Song of the day: Dueling banjos - Deliverance
The song of the day for Thursday and Friday: Asfalt Tango - Fanfare Ciocarlia

Work Thursday was work. Grabbed a few beers at lunch and then afterward. Went and did some groceries after that. Then work was the same for Friday, wasn't expecting much change. Went in an hour early for a safety training course about common sense shit I didn't need to hear, SO I got paid an extra hour to zone out.

I'm sitting herre at Curt's, on his computer, half awake but fully coherent. I'm full, content, and buuuurnt OUT!

Today we were "Doin' the damn thaaang" out on the Quinebaug. Took a nice 7 hour canoe trip, a little burnt but it was a nice trip. I didn't go to sleep at all last night, just stayed up and posted videos to my facebook all night. I love getting lost in Youtube land sometimes. But I ended up paying for it... Do you know how hard it is to stay awake when you're not rowing a canoe... And then do you know how nerve-wracking it is to slip in and out of consciousness while balancing in a canoe? Just picture it and laugh.

So anyway, we popped in at 10 this morning and got back to Curt's at 3:50. We bumped into some other trippers that were completely in the bag and having a good time, went along with them for a bit. Finished off a 12 pack by 2. Wished I grabbed an 18-rack... But only by a little because I would have been regretting drinking more than I that.

I'm beat. Just hanging out for the rest of the night.

You want a prediction about the weather, you're asking the wrong Phil. I'll give you a winter prediction: It's gonna be cold, it's gonna be grey, and it's gonna last you for the rest of your life.

Oh, how the days go by... Nothing new. It's been a few days... already falling out of the habit, NO GOOD!

Sunday I awoke around 2 to a rainy, dreary day. And my moon roof is still leaking after I thought I fixed it... DAMN IT! .... I also found out I lost three BRAND NEW CDS! The Beatles Love, and Kings of Leon Aha shake heartbreak and youth & young manhood. SON OF A BITCH! I hate throwing money away. I think I left them on top of my car and drove away into the night.

After this discovery I decided to hang out with Curtis for a little bit, play some old Halo and have a few beers. After that I went to ... Oh wait, I already talked about Sunday... Haha, ok Monday was pretty much the same. Rainy and gloomy. I wanted to hit up the library but I pushed it off too long. Made lunch for Meagan and I and we went to work. I worked in the gun cage, making these cute little personal defense .22's. Cute is not normally a word used to describe a gun, but it's like a sweet little derringer. After work we got home and had a quick dinner and then Meagan went to Whoremart and then to a friend's. I watched the second episodes of Weeds & The Big C and farted around for a bit, then took a shower and relaxed when Meagan got home. The second episode of Weeds held my attention a lot better than the first one, but it's still bland. They sure know how to drag you along! The Big C is just great!

Tuesday was yet again the same, overcast and gloomy, I'm excited for this fall! I woke up bright and squirrelly at 5, tooo early, so I watched something boring and passed back out until later in the afternoon. Then I got up, had breakfast, made lunch, marinated some chicken and went in to work. I got a shitty machine that turned out to be a not so shitty machine and all in all had an ok night that went by nice and fast. I was just pissed at first because I've been so used to working guns and having time to read. I wanted to start my great Harry Potter Re-Read! I want to try and read all of the books and then watch all of the movies in time to see the final installment! After work we got home real quick and I made baked BBQ chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. It was gooood. I got to bed by 3.

I accidentally left my nicoderm patch on but I know it's not the patch that's been shooting me awake really early. Maybe it's this gloomy, autumn-like weather. I do enjoy it when it's nice and cool and gloomy. I've been in a nice mood lately, and I'm happy to be done smoking cigarettes. I feel they go hand in hand, partly, my mood and not smoking. It definitely wasn't like this at first, this guy was not a happy camper... But I believe the worst has passed. By Saturday I will be off the patch and my nicotine-free life shall
begin! I did sneak a few drags off of a cigarette last night. Minor infraction, but I'm over it.

Yesterday was another ho hum, gloomy day. I finally called the IRS, I now know what I owe, a whopping $1,600 and some odd dollars. I start a 300 dollar a month payment plan on the 28th, so that should take me at most 5 months to take care of... Greeeeaaaat... I also rounded up all of my other debts. Things are looking promising, I just have to stick to my budget and not get any more speeding tickets or fines.

After all that fun I made lunch, went to work, made guns, came home, got fat and happy and went to bed by 3. My library book is 3 days late.... I think I'll make it in today, finally. I have no idea what to get for a book though. I think I'll just drop it off later tonight, I don't really need a new book since I'm starting HP. I'm close to finishing A Million Little Pieces. I'm glad I stuck it out because it's a pretty good story. I don't care that it's all a lie. I went in knowing this and at first it hindered the experience but now it's helping... How, I don't know. But I'm liking it, I have about 50 or so pages to go.

It's Thursday! PAYDAY! BEERDAY! And shopping day. Oh, thank you for reminding me, I need to make a list. I look forward to just getting it all over with. Head down, push through, as Michael Bluth always says. Alright, time to get off for now. Just in case I don't get to a post today, I'll leave you with something to keep you entertained:

LAUGH!

Soon all of you will be like me... And then who will lock you up in a cellar?

Currently watching: Everybody Loves Raymond
Currently a little gassy. Tired. STUFFED.
Song of the day: Pink Moon - Nick Drake

Woke up around two today. Rainy, lazy Sunday. Lounged around until about four and went to Curtis' for a few beers and some lounging at a house other than mine. After, I went to cheapstore for some cheap dish soap. Got home around six and did the dishes and made dinner. Chicken and rice with sauteed veggies, delicious! Going to bed early so I can hit up the library tomorrow. I have no idea what to get.

One thing about living in Santa Carla I never could stomach, all the damn vampires.

Currently Watching: American Dad, background noise.....
Currently eating: the best tuna salad I have ever maaaaade! and a PBR. And burping up taco salad....
I'm in such a good mood.
Song of the day: Cry little sister - Aiden

I pretty much posted a lot today for yesterday/todayish.... Went to work and made guns. Flew by super fast. Brought a friend home to chill for a bit and have a few beers. Then he wanted to crash so I headed over to my good buddy Coitus's house and played Peggle with him and Bobby Stevens for another hour or two. Now I am  home, ready to crash... Have to be up in about 3 hours! Taking my nephew to see a movie and have a men's day! Nana Na and Jaylen are going to destroy Walmart's toy aisle, I promise you this!

Then something with my wonderful lady for a few until later in the evening and then back to Coits for a fire and mayhem and HOPEFULLY a 1:30(a.m.) boat riiiide!

"TOUCH IT!"

I finished The Player Piano, and I imagine a world with a neatly organized non violent revolution! I love the turns this book takes. I found the ending to be powerful but weak, I was hoping it went  a little bit longer into the future, but it still works very well. Wonderful book. I will own Kurt Vonnegut's catalog in no time. He is my top favorite author. EVER.

Love peace and positivity!

Keep it sleazy!

Don't Fucking Wake Me Up Unless Your Name is 9MM!

Currently watching: Not a damn thing! .. Oops, scratch that: 10 Things I Hate About You (1999, god this movie is over a decade old already!)
Currently reading: See last two days. Almost done both. Review to come.
Last movie watched: Zombieland (2009) - 5 stars!
Song of the day:  Gimme Shelter - Rolling Stones

To be honest.... The 5 second rule only works if you don't have pets.... Thank god I'm used to eating hairy food! I did MONDO groceries yesterday. I am hoping to never see a fast food bag or cup in this house again, and if I do it wont be me holding it! I am currently devouring a properly portioned breakfast of raisin bran crunch paired with some bran worms and topped with some vanilla yogurt. Toss an orange and some grapes into the mix and Oulla! I actually wont feel like shit today!

I'm trying to incorporate the food pyramid into my meals. I figure I will never really get it perfect unless I become anal and do a lot of research and number crunching or hire a nutritionist, so I'll settle for including more fruits, veggies, proteins, fibers and as little modified food stuffs (not entirely organic, I'm not rich or anything!) as possible. I'll eat what fuels me, and the end result will be a happier, healthier me! And now is the time to start watching what I eat considering in about a week I will no longer have any trace of nicotine pumping through my body. Which in turn means my metabolism will drop, which means my ass will get even fatter.

Went in to work alone yesterday. Meagan got a doctor's note ordering no work until today, lucky skank. I was down in the gun cage again yesterday, hopefully I'll get it again today and make it a full week. I'm really sucked into The Player Piano and I love it! Very rarely do I get worked up about a book, but anything Kurt Vonnegut has done just reaches me on another level. I feel how he feels, I GET the underlying messages, and he just has the most wonderful tone, powerful meaning, and hilariously subtle sense of humor. Breakfast of Champions was ahead of it's time, and The Player Piano ring so true to our current situation in this nation. It hits so close to home! I got through about 50 or more pages in between cycles yesterday, the man is seriously a fucking genius! My check was 8 hours short, most likely because I forgot to clock out last weekend.... I really wish the HR/Payroll lady would approach me and confirm it rather than wait for me to notice it's missing and then have to take time to go see her and make things right and wait a whole week to see that money... It's asinine if you ask me, this place is really friggen retarded.

After work I hit up the bar for a few free beers, PAYDAAAAY, and then went to Whoremart for about 2 hours. 190 bucks later I got home, got all the groceries put away, chatted with Meagan for a bit and then went to bed watching Zombieland. BILL FUCKING MURRAY!

"My insurance does not cover PMS!"

On that note, I'm detaching from the system and finishing my grapes. Then I'm going to relax until work.

I've had better.

Currently watching: I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell
Currently reading:  A Million Little Pieces by James Frey, almost done! And also working on The Player Piano by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.
Last movie watched: Cop Out - 3 stars
Song of the day: Opening theme to Shaun of the Dead (link)

Got 3 hours of sleep. Fell asleep around 9:30am watching the Dark Night.  Work was work, made baby blue 40's today.... Lame color for a gun. Meagan burnt her arm and ended up leaving later in the night. I  drove a friend home and went into town to pick up a movie.

I started to hyperventilate with giddiness, the roads were empty for a very long stretch and all I could picture was Zombie Apocalypse! I've been seeing a lot of black government vehicles lately... A week ago I saw one with a duffel bag in the back that read HAZMAT. I also love it when I see a huge convoy of military vehicles. My imagination runs wild!

I rented Cop Out. I like Redbox, if I can remember to return the movie it's pretty cheap. Too bad they don't have a huge choice. Cop Out was a bit of a disappointment. It had a few great moments but it was really just crap. As soon as I get some more debts settled I'll get Netflix again!

I can remember specific things from a while ago, but if you asked me what I had for breakfast this morning, I'd draw a blank. Simply put, I can't remember shit. So I decided I'm going to start a blog. I've kind of always wanted to do this but never really got around to it. I've had one in the past but rarely posted anything and eventually forgot all about it. No, this I want to take seriously and do a daily rerun of events. Just to put it on paper. For my own sake. If something truly entertaining happens I'll be more than happy to share but otherwise I just want to easily recall events from certain days and have memories to look back on. Digital journal. Because my penmanship sucks.

And to be honest, my life is pretty tame. Not much happens during the day in and day out of my week/month/year/life, mostly I do the same thing majority of Americans do; slave for measly pay 40 hours a week, get pissed at the traffic, drink beer, wallow in debt, bitch about the weather/economy/traffic/job/(see also: everything), watch too much TV, eat too much shitty food, practice poor sleeping habits annnnd repeat... And nobody cares. And I know this. And I'm OK with that. Everybody has problems of their own. I don't expect you to read the boring parts anyway.

Today I woke up at 12:30 on the dot after falling asleep around 8:30am. Awesome... Four hours of sleep. I'm getting too old for this.... Anyway I poked around Facebook for an hour.... Catching up with everyone's life is a time consuming task... I actually kind of want to work on my internet usage. Cut down and keep to a set time period every day. I don't think an hour in the A.M. and another after work is so bad. I also need to start stretching and getting some abs back... My lower back is starting to grind again. And I'd like to learn yoga. Just take the time to relax and keep my body in tune. Alright enough about self improvement.

ANYWAY! I tuned out for a few more hours after that watching mindless sitcoms. Then I went to work for 4:00. It seems that when we (I work with my girlfriend) leave at 3:00 we hit a bunch of dumbass traffic and get to work by 3:50. If we leave 5-10 minutes later and take another 5-10 minutes at the gas station we miss all the traffic and get to work by the same time... I think I'll test this theory again tomorrow...

Work was the same. Made 9mms. I'm a machine operator for a plastics company and one of our major customers is a major gun maker. Sometimes I get to mold gun frames. And other shit made out of plastic. It's boring factory work but I try to make the most of it. MOST of my fellow employees are pretty cool. I hate the bullshit drama and the pissing and moaning, and some of the poorest management I have witnessed in the workplace. My immediate supervisor is the shit, though.

Today I was told that my radio needs to disappear, that it shouldn't be out and I'm not even allowed to have it..... SINCE FUCKING WHEN?! I've been listening to it almost every day for about 3 months now and up until today it hasn't been mentioned as being a problem. Now I'll just have to wait until they leave. I swear if I get bitched at again I am going to have a fit (in a very composed and professional manner). I will make a mess because having that radio has not hindered my performance in any way. It actually helps with productivity and it would be foolish to banish radios. A happy worker is a diligent worker! I will walk right out the door. And they will probably cave and ask me to stay. And I will shamelessly demand a raise, radios (in the gun cage), and our 15 and 30 minute breaks back. Momma didn't raise no foo'... I had 20 minute lunches for most of my scholastic career, there is no way in hell I'm going back to it... It's bad enough some of the employees act like a bunch of high school, correction, grade school whiny, tattle-tailing brats! BAH! Jesus, I said I wasn't going to bitch and here I am whining. Oh well, getting it out of the way now. I took my radio back out after Polyphemus left, jammed out to the Beatles Love album and read a few chapters of The Player Piano in between working.

I was out of it today. I kept missing the machine and smashing guns or forgetting to put in a serial plate.... I fucked up on 15 guns, that's 15 too many... I need to start eating breakfast... And I need to find and include brain foods... Either way work flew by nice and fast. After work we brought a friend home and grabbed some McEvil for dinner. Watched some TV and dicked around on the internet. And that brings us to now. Hopefully I can find a way to make a more abridged version of my day... Or whatever. It's not like anybody is reading this... Yet?
